Halo-lit letters
Solid letters on standoffs with LEDs behind them, washing the wall in a soft ring of light so the name appears to float. A common choice for corporate lobbies, clinics and professional offices.

Interior and lobby signs · Dallas Fort Worth
Clients, candidates and patients form an opinion within a few steps of your front door, and the lobby sign is usually what they look at first. We design, fabricate and install interior signs across Dallas Fort Worth, from halo-lit logo walls to the wayfinding and wall graphics further inside.
Interior signs are the signs and graphics inside a building. They include lobby and reception logos, dimensional letters, halo-lit and backlit logo walls, brushed metal panels, wall graphics and murals, and wayfinding that guides people to rooms and departments. Because they are seen up close, finish, alignment and lighting matter more than sheer size.
The lobby sign
A reception wall is a small space with a big job. It confirms people are in the right place, sets the tone for the meeting that follows and reminds staff, every morning, what kind of company they work for.
Interior signs are read at walking pace from a few feet away, so the details show. Letter depth, edge finish, the gap between letter and wall and the way light falls across it all count for more here than on any exterior sign.

Styles
The right style depends on the wall, the light in the room and how formal the space needs to feel.
Lighting
Three common approaches to a reception wall, and where each one earns its place.
| Compare | Halo-lit letters | Non-lit dimensional letters | Panel sign |
|---|---|---|---|
| Look | Letters float on a soft glow | Crisp letters with a natural shadow | A framed, finished plaque |
| Power | Needs a power source behind or near the wall | None | None |
| Wall surface | Smooth, light walls show the halo most clearly | Almost any surface | Almost any surface, fixed at a few points |
| Logo detail | Clean shapes that work in silhouette | Shapes cut from solid material | Fine detail and full color |
| Best fit | Corporate lobbies, clinics, hospitality | Offices, studios, accent walls | Professional suites, conference rooms, secondary walls |
Halo lighting needs a surface to shine onto. On heavily textured stone, glass or a very dark wall, a non-lit letter or a different lighting approach may read better. We will tell you which before you commit.
Installation
Interior signs usually go up at the end of a build-out or in an office that is already open. We work from a full-size pattern of the sign so every hole lands where it should, then set letters and panels level on concealed studs or standoffs.
Lit signs need a power source behind or near the wall. We plan its location during the survey, so the wiring stays hidden and the connection is ready when the sign arrives.

The logo is one wall. The building has dozens more.
Backlit and halo-lit logo panels give a reception wall the same presence the building sign has outside.
Beyond the lobby
Past reception, signs stop introducing the brand and start doing work: pointing the way, naming rooms and making large spaces easier to run.
Printed murals and cut vinyl lettering for mission statements, values and brand stories, on painted walls in lobbies, hallways and break rooms. They can be replaced when the message changes.
Directional signs that guide visitors from the entrance to the right suite, department or meeting room, planned around the routes people actually walk.
Office, conference room and suite signs in the same materials and typefaces as the lobby sign, so the building reads as one system.
Frosted or printed vinyl on conference room glass and office doors for privacy, visibility and branding.
Large, simple signs for docks, aisles, zones and departments, sized to be read from across the floor.

How we deliver
Every interior signs project follows the same six steps. Here is what each one means for this sign type.
We measure the wall, note the sightline from the entrance and identify the surface: drywall, stone, tile, glass or wood.
Logo size, depth and finish are proofed against the real wall color and the light in the room.
We set standoff depth and mounting hardware for the surface and, for lit signs, plan where the power supply and wiring hide.
Drawings go to building management or the landlord for approval, and we confirm whether the city needs a permit for any lit elements.
Letters and panels are cut and finished at our Carrollton facility, with a full-size mounting pattern for the wall.
We template, drill and set each piece level, connect any lighting and leave the space ready for visitors.

The terms overlap. Both put the light behind the letter rather than in front of it. Halo-lit usually means solid letters on standoffs with LEDs aimed at the wall, so the name sits in silhouette on a ring of light. Backlit is often used for the same effect, and sometimes for signs that also glow through the face. We will explain which approach suits your wall.
Most are acrylic, aluminum or PVC, cut into letters or panels and finished to match your brand. Brushed and painted metal finishes, printed panels and vinyl graphics are all options. The wall matters as much as the sign, so materials and mounting are chosen with the surface in mind.
They need a power source close to the sign. The LED power supply is usually hidden behind the sign or inside the wall, and we plan its location during the site survey so no cords show. If the wall needs a new outlet or junction box, we plan it with your contractor.
Most letters and panels mount on studs or standoffs set into small drilled holes, which are hidden once the sign is up. If the sign comes down later, holes in drywall are easy to patch. Stone, tile and glass need different hardware, which we plan before installation.
