Who we are

A commercial sign company that owns the whole job.

Signs Express makes the signs that identify businesses and properties: channel letters and storefront signs, building signs, monuments, pole and pylon signs, lit cabinets, lobby and interior signs, window and wall graphics and vehicle wraps.

What defines the work is less any single product than who is responsible for it. The whole job sits with us, from the first site visit to the service call long after opening day. The survey informs the design, the design becomes the drawings the shop builds from, and the crew that installs the sign knows how it was made.

The businesses behind our portfolio include retailers, restaurants, churches, clinics and wellness practices, offices, learning centers, apartment communities and companies whose vehicles carry their brand on the road.

Dallas Fort Worth

Focused on Dallas Fort Worth.

Our service area is Dallas Fort Worth, including Dallas, Carrollton, Richardson, Plano, Frisco, Allen, McKinney, Arlington and Fort Worth.

A regional focus pays off in the details a distant vendor tends to miss: which sign types a zoning district allows, how a particular property manager wants drawings presented, and how Texas sun, heat and spring storms treat a sign face over the years.

It also keeps us close to the work. Surveys, fabrication, installation and service are all run from Carrollton, so the people who build your sign work in the same metro area where it will stand.

Where signs get built

Where the work happens.

The head office and manufacturing facility sits at 1500 N Interstate 35E, Ste 100, Carrollton, TX 75006. Signs are fabricated there to approved drawings and finished in each client's brand colors, and illuminated signs are wired and lit before they are delivered.

Design, drawings and project management run from the same building, so the people preparing your drawings and approval packages work steps away from the shop that builds the sign.

Credentials

Licensed in Texas.

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation has licensed Signs Express as a Texas Electrical Sign Contractor, license number 18921.

Under Texas licensing rules, the electrical work that powers an illuminated sign belongs to licensed electrical sign contractors. Holding the license means we connect the signs we install ourselves, instead of handing the final step of the job to another company.

You can confirm the license in the TDLR public license search using the license number above.

How we work

How we work.

01

We start at the property

Recommendations come after we have measured the building, looked at it from the road and found out where power is and which rules apply. Not before.

02

Drawings you can hold us to

Designs are drawn to scale with materials, lighting and mounting specified, so the drawing you approve is the document the shop builds from.

03

Approvals before production

Landlord and city approvals come before fabrication, so nothing is built to a design that might still have to change.

04

Engineering where it counts

We detail how each sign attaches and is supported, and bring in a licensed engineer for sealed drawings whenever the city or property demands them.

05

Built to be serviced

Faces, LED modules and power supplies are made to be reached and replaced, and we are the people to call when they need it.

Straight answers early

If a sign will not pass code, will not read from the road or will not fit the budget, we say so at the start and offer an alternative.
