Project showcase · Dimensional letters + Logo disc
The Den Poker Lounge Dimensional Letters and Logo Disc
A copper bear head over a row of card suits sets the tone before anyone reads THE DEN, spelled out in tall dark serif capitals on a pale stone wall. The Den runs as a membership social club in Rowlett's Dalrock Crossing center, offering No Limit Hold'em and tournaments alongside chess, dominoes and spades.

Materials
THE and POKER LOUNGE are flanked by thin horizontal rules above and below the oversized DEN, every character a dark dimensional letter with enough depth to throw a shadow on the stone. The disc has a copper rim, with the bear head and the four suits in copper on a dark face.
Illumination
By day the dark letters and the copper-toned disc carry the sign on contrast with the cream stone, no light required.
Installation
Hung high on cream Austin stone between three gooseneck lights and the awning tie-backs, below a band of brown brick, with a bucket truck's boom still in frame at lower right.
