Nritya Dance Peacock Logo and Dimensional Letters

A gold peacock inside a teardrop leads the Nritya name, a mark passersby can recognize before they read a single word. Nritya Dance Academy teaches Bollywood, Bharatanatyam, Kathak and wedding choreography at The Centre at Preston Ridge in Frisco, and its dancers have performed at Dallas Mavericks halftime shows.

Materials

Gold faces sit on a black backer cut to follow the teardrop and every letter, with Nritya in a rounded upright face and DANCE in heavier capitals below. The set is fixed to beige stucco on a corniced tower, and a poster in the window below repeats the peacock mark.

Illumination

Overcast light flattens the stucco around it, but the gold faces hold firm against their black outline.

Installation

Placed high on the end-cap tower, above a row of windows and a standing-seam metal awning hung from tie rods with star anchors.
