Milk Cake Bakery Two-Tone Dimensional Letters
Pink lettering singles out Cake while Milk and Bakery stay black, a two-tone treatment that gives the bakery a playful note on an otherwise plain white facade. The bakery is one of the new tenants in the renovated Habibi Market center in south Richardson, part of a growing Middle Eastern and Arab business district.

Materials
Chunky slab-serif letters, black for Milk and Bakery and raspberry pink for Cake, stand on a raised white stucco parapet capped in black, each one throwing a crisp shadow. Black canopies run along the storefronts below, echoing the parapet trim.
Illumination
Full daylight turns the letters' depth into a sharp shadow line across the smooth stucco.
Installation
Centered on the raised parapet over the bakery's entry and already in place while the storefront was still being finished, with cones, a bucket and permit notices at the open doors.
