Gufo's Pizza Logo Cabinet and Dimensional Letters
A red owl gripping a slice of pizza leads the name, giving drivers an image to recognize before they can read a word. Gufo's is an independent east Plano pizzeria that stays open late, and the mascot is no accident: gufo is Italian for owl.

Materials
The owl is cut to its own outline, with red wings, a gray face and a pizza slice in its talons. GUFO'S in red and PIZZA in white have deep dark returns and sit on a stepped charcoal backer against tan brick.
Illumination
Photographed by day, when those deep returns throw a hard shadow line and the red and white faces hold their color against charcoal and brick.
Installation
Mounted high on the brick wall above the black storefront canopy, with the logo leading the letters from left to right.
